COLONEL CARTER & DOCTOR JACKSON ARE SETTING TIMERS. CARTER'S BLOWING THINGS UP.. ..AGAIN!

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

"Wheres he going?"

"I don't know."

"What was he looking at?"

"Looked like he was looking at the wall. I didn't see Lieutenant Marks or Captain Evans. Here he is now."

Sergeant Whitworth came out of the pyramid again, alone. He started racing down to the StarGate, every so often looking back at the pyramid, at the front wall.

Sergeant Frank was at the D.H.D. Dialling the Beta Site. Just as the StarGate was about to initialise it completely shutdown and immediately reactivated.

Whooosh!

Incoming off world activation without a doubt.

Everybody rushed into position. It was to late for Major Pierce and Lieutenant Benson to get into position behind the StarGate, they tucked into the left flank. They were all ready. There was no way Shell of Teal'c was going to escape them.

Nothing happened. No one came through the Gate. In particular Teal'c did not come through the StarGate. There was no signalling. No radio transmission. They had no idea where the Gate had been Dialled from. Equally as unhelpful, they could not tell if the connection was Seven, Eight or Nine Chevroned. Many StarGates have their bottom two Chevrons covered due to the way they've been erected and mounted. It certainly doesn't effect the Gate's operations but it does mean that only Seven of the Nine Chevrons are visible.

They tried radio contact with The SGC, no contact. They doubted that it was incoming from Earth. The StarGate remained open for almost a minute and then shutdown.

Sergeant Frank quickly started to Dial the Beta Site again.

Sergeant Whitworth got to the StarGate, breathless. He reported to Majors Pierce and Griff.

"Sirs they're in real trouble in there. Not with these ones, it's the others, the rock monsters! Looks bad. They're under attack and I think two might already be down, injured, not sure about that though. Lieutenant Marks and Captain Evans are hold up inside the entrance, they're making sure its clear. Colonel Carter told me to tell you to Move out."

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

Most of the explosives had been set in the atrium, the large hall in between the entrance to the inner antechamber and the exit to the outside. Colonel Carter understood entirely the condition the General required. She was certain laying the explosives in the atrium, the antechamber and the cavern, would create the desired effect. Importantly access to the StarGate would be cut off. Not that any creature from the pyramid used the StarGate, unless of course we're talking Nine Chevron travel, and that would mean shell occupancy, the very thing General O'Neill intended to stamp out.

Taking out the entrance to the pyramid would do two things. It would prevent easy access to the StarGate, it would also, hopefully, create a snowballing cascade of energy, sending tremors waving through the structure of the pyramid, it should be enough to dislodge stability. Once that was achieved the whole thing would collapse like a house of cards, hopefully.

Inside the atrium were ten columns which stood floor to ceiling forty feet above. The pillars were set out as a row of soldiers two abreast and wide apart. Colonel Carter, Daniel, Reynolds and Jaspers carried out a quick measurement on the room size and identified the crucial support columns. There was four of them. Colonel Carter climbed up the first one. She set the explosives at the top, against the ceiling. It wasn't an easy climb and it was only by chance that she was able to do it at all.

Guessing that she was about to be ordered to plant explosives in the pyramid, when she and Daniel had gone to the Munitions Stores at The SGC to load up, she figured that maximum chain reaction would be achieved not by planting the explosives at ground level, since in that type of terrain, and in such heavy masonry, a great deal of the explosive force would be absorbed into the ground and funnelled out into the hollowness below. If they were to plant high they needed to climb.

Research at The SGC were constantly adapting and inventing equipment to deal with the varied and new situations the SG Units encountered on away Missions. One of these specially designed high tech gadgets was a nifty little handheld gun, a high powered ratcheted. The thing about it was that once it was positioned it clamped itself onto the surface and fired a nine inch bolt into anything but metal. There was practically no recoil which all but eliminated the risk of being knocked back off balance while trying to punch a nail in a wall from an upwards right angle many many feet above the ground.

Colonel Carter punched her way up the pillar using the protruding inches of the bolt. As she climbed she punched in a bolt and then stood on that while she punched in another bolt higher up the column. She then stood on that while firing in another bolt higher up, feet and hand grips. A very simple concept, an extremely precarious climb but considered by the Colonel to be well worth it. This way she didn't just guarantee taking down the pillar, column, she also guaranteed taking down the ceiling. In turn that would guarantee a shock force tremulous enough to travel some good distance through the rest of the structure.

Luckily the coast was clear. They were all very apprehensive. Although SGs 3 and 4 hadn't been on the Retrieval Mission into the tunnels, they'd heard about it, in detail. They were on guard and ready for attack. Planting the explosives was quite a time consuming process. There was only one slug gun which meant only one person at a time could climb a column. As soon as Colonel Carter reached the top of the first column, before she began to inset the C4, she lowered the gun down to Daniel so that he could get on with punching his way up to the top of one of the other three pillars.

By the time Daniel reached the top of his column Colonel Carter was back down to the ground. Daniel lowered the gun, same method, using a coil wire to drop it down. The Colonel could then get on with her second column, again as soon as she got up there she lower the gun down to Daniel who had finished planting the explosives and was ready to work his way up his second pillar.

All four columns were set. They then planted more explosive against the west and east walls of the hall. Maximum effect.

Just as they were finishing in the atrium they heard gun fire. It wasn't as loud as you'd expect, the thick stone walls filtered and diluted sound. Things seemed to be kicking off outside. The Colonel asked Colonel Reynolds to send one of his Team to check on the situation, see if they needed assistance and also to get an update on the infected and to find out if Teal'c was okay.

They moved further in towards the cavern. From the atrium they came into a much much smaller room, though still very long and wide. Some kind of antechamber. It didn't really seemed to serve a purpose it was just there, filling up space. The ceiling in this room was down to about twenty feet. No columns in there, sandy stone floor. Again they set the explosives, ground level, east and west walls. They dug into the walls to set the explosives.

They pushed on, walking into a long ginnel way beyond which was the foot bridge leading to the central area of the pyramid, the rostrum on which stood the Crystal Skull platform. With all the walkways, deep rooms and long passages they were already well more than three hundred and eighty meters into the pyramid. It was one hell of a massive structure.

There was no way planting the explosives so far into the structure any stone would be left standing. As General O'Neill said, it was to be raised and levelled. It would be levelled but not so much to the ground, more down, down, down to the pit of hell.

Sergeant Jaspers came running back in. It was very awkward not having radio contact with the outside. The radios, although they worked very short range within the skin of the structure, the signal was too weak to reach to the outside. Effectively the weak signals would not carry through the excessively thick stone cladding of the walls. Conversely though and somewhat of a perplexing annoyance to Doctor Carter, Radio transmission from inside the actual cavern itself was boosted exponentially. Until they reached the cavern they were off air.

"Colonels, they've got four of them! The fire was engagement with an ejecting Nebulium. Teal'c's not come through from Nifla!"

"What??"

"Yes Ma'am, the Gates shutdown. You can see it from the entrance, the StarGates shutdown, hes not come through from Nifla."

"Do they need help?"

"No they said they're covered. They seem to have things sorted. Looks like they're expecting Teal'c because they're still stood up round the Gate."

"Okay. Thanks Sergeant."

The thought winded her. She'd seen the difficulty Teal'c had been in before he left The SGC. He could barely breathe and he had no strength. If they got to Nifla and he'd already been overtaken by the oxygen.. ..but then General O'Neill had already had the pure oxygen delivery in the Gate Room discontinued. So maybe it wasn't the oxygen. They got to Nifla and he was unable to go through the Gate, which means he must have collapsed on Nifla, but then why wouldn't the others have carried him through, unless his Nebulium had ejected, or gad, dissolved in him, on Nifla. The other shells wouldn't bother to carry Teal'c for that reason.

Theres no other reason why he wouldn't come through unless the Nebulium can read minds. It would have used Teal'c's military mind. Teal'cs part of our Team. An integral part of our Team. He knows how we work. He knows how the General thinks. He even said himself not to follow. He would probably know we would try and beat them to P7X 377. He probably knew we'd try and set a trap at the StarGate. But then if Teal'c's Nebulium knew that, why did the others come through the Gate. No, there must be another reason. Unless..

"Sam! Sam?"

"Ou. Err. Err.."

"He'll be alright."

"Yeah I reckon he'll be alright too Doctor Jackson. Strong as an ox Teal'c. He'll be alright. There must be a reason for him not coming through. Maybe he managed to put up a fight. Did you see him in the Gate Room. He almost didn't go into the event horizon."

"That's probably it then. He's probably waiting on Nifla for us to go and get him."

"Yeah that's probably it Daniel.. ..but why do you think he didn't Dial back home?"

"Colonel Carter, maybe he just didn't have the strength. Or maybe its because he had to Dial that other number, you know with the extra Chevron, maybe he doesn't know that address."

"No he knows that address, he cracked the code with us."

"He'll be fine. He will! He'll be fine."

"Thanks Tony. I hope so."

"Yeah I'm sure he'll be fine as well Sam. Where we putting these.. ..we'll go and get him as soon as we've done this!"

"Okay, lets plant these and go get him. Right, okay, the ginnel. How far in would you say we are?"

"I just counted that on my way back in Ma'am. Its around about three and a half hundred meters in now."

"Great, this is definitely going to do it. Em, okay lets get these planted along both walls. It might be an idea to plant as high up as possible."

The ginnel was over a hundred meters long. It was narrow and the roof was much lower, although much higher than in the tunnels. It was about ten meters high, sorry, ten feet high. The geometric shape of the ginnel made no sense at all. Perhaps it was a particular race of kidnapped slaves who had been assigned to finish the ginnel. There were parts of ancient middle America where geometry in design was very pronounced.

They set the timers and synchronised to the detonator.

The group was to far in now to hear the riproar outside. The shape of the ginnel they were in also had the effect of completely dampening the sounds from outside the pyramid, from outside the antechamber actually. In view of the gun fire earlier Colonel Carter told SG-4 to nip outside and get an update on things.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

SG-4 ran through the antechamber into the main entrance atrium. It was a fair wide chamber, at least a hundred and fifty meters in length. Once across the chamber it was a short dash through a few passages to the outside.

One thing about the SG Units, as kited out as they were they moved with a whole lot of stealth. Which was very good considering the situations they often found themselves in.

As they got to the outside of the pyramid they couldn't believe the sight they saw. SG-19 was tearing up the causeway towards them and there were two dressed Nebulium dragging Master Sergeant Walter Harriman toward the entrance they'd just exited. One of the Nebulium was in the process of raising its arm as if to wave to the Units at the StarGate.

Straight away without instruction SG-4 split into two and each pair jumped a Nebulium. The Nebulium were very very strong but being taking from behind is usually, if done correctly, the most difficult spot to get out of. The Units at the StarGate were ducking down and screaming at them. They could hear sounds on open broadcast but because everybody was shouting at once the sound quality crashed.

"..Ep.. ..ar t!! W.. ..on!! Thew..!!"

They heard something about, it may have been weapon. The thing is SG-4 really couldn't understand them, it just wasn't clear. However they'd been so much talk round the Base about the trial in the tunnels they immediately caught on to what the other Units must have been shouting about. The Nebulium were armed. They wore gloves, killer gloves. SG-4 tried to manoeuvre their captives, swinging them round towards the pyramid so that their colleagues were no longer in danger.

SG-19 sprinted up to their position. They had the Nebulium arms safe. Pointed at the pyramid. The Nebulium disappeared. It was a horrible feeling. They had them and then they disappeared. All the Ops checked around, nothing. Major Walsh advised Major Mosskyovich to resume their position. SG-4 retreated back inside the pyramid to take up SG-1's six.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

"Are you done?"

"No."

"How many?"

"Two."

"Okay. Daniel I think the best thing to do is going to be.. ..I've got three so maybe the best thing to do is to cross the bridge and go onto that central rostrum the err, that centrum thing. It seems to be the core of the cavern, its the centre of the pyramid. If we put what we've got left there, around that structure, that's going to give us maximum effect."

"Sure, I'll go for that Sam. It all looks clear anyway. Its been clear up to now. Should be alright."

"Okay. Just wait for me though, we'll cross the bridge together. Did yous catch that?"

"Yes Ma'am!!"

"Colonel Reynolds, Daniel and I will go and plant what we've got left over there, theres no need to follow us. The only way onto that thing is across this bridge so, hold it for us, we'll just be a couple of minutes."

"Right Colonel!!"

There was such a lot of chemical reaction in the cavern it was difficult to say where the light was coming from. Obviously it was seeping in from above, slightly, but anyway, the radiation levels were currently tolerable.

The end of the ginnel passageway which led out onto the bridge to the centre of the pyramid was quite a tight squeeze for a full Unit. SG-3 moved up to the tip of the bridge. SG-4, as soon as they arrived back, would take up position further along the passage towards the antechamber.

Daniel and Colonel Carter went across the bridge and onto the rostrum. They were to lay one charge at the base of the Crystal Skull pedestal. Colonel Carter wanted three of the charges set over the edges of the rostrum. Two or three feet down over the edge, very very carefully set. The last charge was to go at the bridge.

They got off the bridge and onto the rostrum and exactly then began to hear wailing and hooing. Devilish noises from the deep.

SG-4 came out of the antechamber into the bottom end of the ginnel. They slowed, coming in about twenty meters and then stationed themselves. They came over the Comms.

"It is a very bad condition, outside of here. We already encounter two Nebulium. However they fled once we attacked them. They escaped by disappearing."

"Whats going on? Are they under attack out there?"

"They are under a small attack Colonel Carter, though as I already mentioned, the Nebulium withdrew as we encountered it, them."

"Do they need assistance?"

"No Colonel. Major Walsh informed me that they are aware of everything and they are completely sufficient. They do not require more Operatives at this time."

"How are the infected people?"

"They did not say."

"Hows Teal'c?"

"He did not yet arrive Doctor Jackson."

"Did anybody say when they thought Teal'c would show up?"

"No they did not."

"Okay Major, thank you. Take up your positions!"

"You are welcome Colonel Carter. We are situated approximately eighty meters south of SG-3."

"Okay thats Good Demitri. Keep alert! Daniel hows it going?"

"Almost done Sam. How about you?"

"Yep, just the one at the bridge to do. We can get going in a minute. Everybody keep a sharp lookout, there may be some incoming. Watch the walls, you know what I'm talking about. Watch the walls, watch the ceiling. Zats, use zats, if it's the erm.."

"Sam the rock devils."

"Yeah. If it's the rock devils, use your zats. If theres any sign of Nebulium you need to use your P90s. No cross fire!"

Yes from the sound of it there was going to be incoming. The noises were becoming much louder now and chaotically organised.

Colonel Carter was lying down on the rostrum. Leaning over the edge next to the bridge. She wanted to plant the C4 exactly where the bridge joined the rostrum, about three feet down from its ground level. She was scrapping a little hole into the rock work, to mould the plastilina into the joint. Daniel was kneeling next to the Colonel. For safety he had a hold of the back of her flacks.

"Got it! Done! Pull me up!"

Daniel was pulling the Colonel up.

"Sam. Ah Gawd Sam. Look up! Look at the other side of the bridge! Above the passageway. Look up on the wall. Ah gawd, the walls movin'!"

"What? Where? Where Daniel?"

It was evident where. The wall surrounding the exit off the bridge was alive with movement. Very obvious movement because the devilish little rock features did not blend in with the cavern surrounds.

"Ah gawd damn. Colonel!! Incoming!! It's the rock devils!! Incoming!! Watch you sides! Watch the ceiling! Zats!! Major Mosskyovich, have your Team watch the sides and the ceiling! They come out of the walls. Incoming!! Incoming at all o'clock!!"

"Colonel they're not coming out of the walls here. We seem to be safe. Theres no show of them."

"Yeah Colonel Reynolds, I think I know the reason for that. I'm not sure if they definitely don't come out of the walls but they don't blend in that tunnel. That passageway's different. They'd stand out a mile in there."

"Daniel's right Tony. Even so, they're gonna come in. They don't have any.. ..they're gonna come in trust me. Standby! And watch out! Watch your backs! Watch your fronts! We can see them from here, they're coming down the walls, moving in on your position!"

"Colonel you need to make a break for it now!"

"We're on our way."

"Sam theres nothing behind.. ..they're not coming up err, theres nothing behind us."

"Yeah I know. We just need to, come on lets make a go for it."

They moved at a brisk double quick pace along the bridge, towards the ginnel, towards SGs 3 and 4.

Totally different to in the tunnels, the D'jinn, the rock devils were advancing quietly. There was howling and screaming, squealing but it was coming from below. In the near vicinity, on the cavern wall, the rock devils weren't making a sound.

Suddenly there were dozens of them. Maniacal D'jinn appearing out from little holes and crevices in the cavern rock walls. Like beetles combing the surface. As with the ginnel passageway, in the cavern, on the walls, the D'jinn didn't blend in with their surrounds. Their colours stood out. They were easy to spot and the nearer they came the easier they would be to shoot.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

Contact! They heard screams from the other side of the passage, the other side of the ginned, from SG-4, they were in trouble. A group of D'jinn had come from the direction of the antechamber, a place where they would blend in splendidly. They had come into the ginnel and up behind SG-4. They were absolutely silent.

Although they'd seen the video footage it was still quite a shock to see their moving appearance, just yards behind them.

SG-4 began firing. You could hear the shots being zapped off. You could hear one of them screaming. Screaming, shouting in Russia. Shouting for help. Screaming for help in any language would definitely sound the same as this. Horrendous. The rock devils had Lieutenant Valdynsky. Pulling him backwards. The rest of the Team were still shooting. As one D'jinn let go another took up a grip on the Lieutenant. Pulling him away from the group, dragging him back the way they had just come.

SG-4 were following, firing. Suddenly from nowhere or from behind the group of D'jinn, were another group of D'jinn. This lot lobbed spears and stones and sticks and arrows and metal stone axes at SG-4. All primitive weaponry but used very effectively. Taken by surprise the Team semi-retreated, still firing, but having absolutely no cover they had to retreat back to the corner of the passageway that led down to the bridge. SG-4 used the shielding of the corner itself to stave off the hand deployed bombardment.

Not far from them, and if they looked around the corner, still in view, Lieutenant Valdinsky was struggling and trying to wrestle with the devils. His screaming turned into blood curdling pleas for assistance and mercy.

Heaven in hell, oh gawd, Lieutenant Valdinsky was screaming and crying and whimpering. His comrades dashed round the corner towards him. Lieutenant Polud was firing his P90, the others were firing zats, repeated firing. They got snowed in by a hail of arrows and a bombardment of spears and stones. Still firing they retreated back to the corner again.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

SG-3 were holding their ground. They'd been given the signal of countless incoming and at that time were unable to leave their position. They'd been assigned to six and going to assist at the other side of the ginnel, seventy or eighty meters away, would not be six, it would be south, gone south. SG-3 held their positions.

SG-3 on hearing the terrible cries were counting the ways they were going to retaliate with their zat'nik'atels. It was clear the rock devils were getting the upper hand down there, but as to why they were, that wasn't yet clear. They knew the rock devils had Valdinsky but each time the rest of SG-4 went round the corner they lost radio contact until they retreated again.

Colonel Carter and Daniel could hear what was going on clearly, corner or not, the cavern boosted radio transmission. They were on channel B2, shortwave, they were picking up everything on that band.

As of yet they could do nothing but edge their way back along the bridge towards the ginnel. The thing that was stopping them from making a dash for it was that the rock devils were so close and down the walls now that should they make a run for it there was a good chance they would be jumped by devils launching on them from the rock face above.

"Colonel move your Team back, they're coming in, they're gonna come in any second, you need to get back!"

They stepped back quite a lot of meters leaving the ginnel entranceway free as a kill zone. Sergeant Jaspers of SG-3 was facing the other side of the ginnel, down towards SG-4. The rest of the Unit were all facing the bridge, waiting for Colonel Carter and Daniel, and waiting for the projectile income.

Colonel Carter and Daniel were still on the bridge. Believing it to be safer to remain where they were than to take a run at the entrance to the ginnel. The devils were all over the wall. Colonel Carter spoke to Major Mosskyovich.

"Major whats your situation?"

"Colonel these creatures are dragging away one of my officers!"

"What, well where are they dragging him?"

"Along the passage in the direction of the large chamber through which we came."

"Major can't you get him back? Shoot them! Zat them!"

"Yes we have attempted this method repetitively. They are coming at us in strong force. They have much reinforcement."

"But they don't have guns though do they?"

"Doctor Jackson, what they have is just as effective as guns."

"Are any more of your men injured?"

"Negative!"

"Major is it not possible to charge them, to attack them, try and get your man back?"

"Yes we will try again. We will not give up!"

"Yes keep trying! You may also need to make sure you zat your officer as well, once! Out!"

They obviously still hadn't recovered him because poor Valdynsky was screaming his lungs out.

The first of the D'jinn, half a dozen of them, swung down off the wall and into the entrance to the ginnel at the lip of the bridge. Colonel Reynolds and his Team were completely shocked by the physical sight of the rock devils. As General O'Neill had pointed out, the footage taken by the video headgear recorders was extremely dark and it was difficult to get a full impression of the creatures. Face to face they looked somewhat different. Small true, but exceedingly menacing and ferocious.

SG-3 let go with streaks of lighting flaring out towards the bridge. In anticipation of this Colonel Carter had pulled back more towards the rostrum. The D'jinn devils were skipping and screaming, jumping from foot to foot. Absorbing the shots. Absorbing the pain. One, two, three and more shots at these devils and they were still there right in front of SG-3, not disintegrated, not dispersing and most importantly not advancing.

SG-3 were not giving the D'jinn opportunity to cross the kill zone. Thankfully these devils were not armed. They swung into the ginnel, took a few shots and jumped out again, scooting down the rock face and disappearing into holes and cracks.

The noise was a nightmare in itself. The squeals the howling, the yowling. The electric. The crackling. The only thing that changed was the loudness. The more the devils got shot the more they squealed. It was sick. The D'jinn weren't getting in, due to geometry the north end of the ginnel was well defended.

They turned their evil attentions to the bridge and the couple on the bridge. Colonel Carter invoked a long since used military strategy. Good old two row shooters. Daniel was in front so he knelt down. Colonel Carter was behind him so she stood up. They both had line of sight to anything moving towards them on the bridge. Some D'jinn, three of them, leapt down onto the bridge. They walked on all fours. Snarling and growling and attacking like some animal that does those things.

Yeah, roll over Rover! Daniel shot all three of them. He shot them plenty and they did roll over, squealing, squealing all the way down to ossiferous. The bridge was clear. Seeing this more devils attacked Daniel and the Colonel. They jumped down from their grips on the wall. This time they walked upright on dirty smelly filthy bare feet. SG-3 shot at them from within the ginnel. Lightening licks against the rock devil's posteriors. They jumped off the bridge, not down. Daniel could see them hurling themselves back at the rock face, easily clinging to the rock then seemingly spilling meters down and disappearing into crevices, probably to lick their wounds.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

Even SG-3 could hear it. They could hear it out of Colonel Carter's and Daniel's radios. Valdinsky was screaming. He was screaming and screaming. This time although you wouldn't have thought possible, it sounded a lot more serious than before. It really was more serious than before. SG-4 were screaming. All of them screaming. Screaming at Valdynsky, screaming at the devils. The D'jinn had stopped dragging the Lieutenant and had started devouring him. It was disgusting. SG-4 still couldn't get to him. They were still being warded off, with points, and stones.

It just didn't seem right that they couldn't get to him. I mean after all, these were primitive.. ..Whatevers. They should be able to get to their fallen man. For gads sake he was being chomped on right in front of them, not twenty yards away. Mosskyovich was screaming. He had his arm out straight and loaded with a zat. He was running straight at them, straight at the rock devils. He was screaming at them ordering them to stand away. He was firing. He kept his finger on the trigger. The zat'nik'atel stopped firing whilst he was still running at the devils. Ou! He took his finger off the trigger and placed it back on again. The gun fired. Now instead of keeping his finger on the trigger he was pumping the gun, in this way he managed to get an almost continuous blast wave issued out on the devils. The Russian Major was hoping to shoot Lieutenant Valdynsky. Once only, but for petes sake, shoot him at least, once.

The rock devils had pointed teeth. Very mean looking, dirty filthy broken pointed teeth, rock like and incredibly strong. They were chopping through Valdynsky's uniform, straight into his flesh. They weren't eating him there and then but they were biting chunks out of him, tasting him. Sick and evil! He hit him. Major Mosskyovich hit and knocked Valdynsky out! That was a great relief for all of SG-4.

About four rock devils, who weren't flesh tasting, began pelting Major Mosskyovich with miniature spears. He got hit, one, two, three.. ..four times. Sharp, wounding and painful. He stopped charging and staggered to a halt. Spears, two in one leg, one in the side, one up towards the shoulder. The one in his side and the one towards his shoulder didn't go in properly. They sliced through his vest but got stopped by the double P90 magazine and his all weather radio both in his jacket pockets.

The two in the leg went through but he'd been so determined to help his man that at first he didn't feel the pain. They weren't the bigger spears, they were the small ones with smaller blades. Still cut just as sharp though. The Major had to retreat. Lieutenant Polud has gone after him with his P90 as back up, Sergeant Hodda had assisted with his zat gun. They were still all firing but were now walking and hobbling backwards. They got clear back to the corner.

Major Mosskyovich fell to the ground. Sergeant Hodda removed the small spears and tied a tourniquet to just below his knee. As sudden and silently as they'd appeared, the rock devils withdrew and disappeared. SG-4 looked round the corner to see about the lack of noise. Valdynsky was there on the ground, bloody, bloody unconscious. Bitten and rendered, mouthful chunks of him missing, but the devils had gone, for now.

Polud and Hodda darted down the passage and got Valdynsky by the feet and ran, dragging him backwards, back to the corner, they had him. Lieutenant Polud gave his radio to Major Mosskyovich. Major Mosskyovich went on open Comms.

"Colonel Carter we have recovered our man. He is badly injured but he will recover!"

"Are you under attack?"

"The creatures have withdrawn, however they may well return."

"Yes Major, chances are they will return. Perhaps you should move your position down further. Cut them off as they try to get out of the antechamber.. ..the big room. Move down Major! Move down and report back."

"Yes Colonel we will now alter our position. Major Mosskyovich out."

Well of course it made no sense. They must have gone somewhere. Why would they just withdraw like that. In light of truth they did have the upper hand. There was no need for them to retreat, seemingly.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

"Tony get ready! Theres one, two, five of them heading in."

"We're on it Colonel!"

SG-3 stayed with the zats and scorched every devil that entered the kill zone. Most of them scampered out, down the wall, into some narrow fissure. The ones that stayed got more shots from the zats. There were two rock devils on the ground now, not moving. But they were devilish so not moving didn't necessarily mean they were dead, they could have been regrouping, waiting to act, waiting to attack, who knew.

More D'jinn in the ginnel, more on the bridge. Colonel Carter and Daniel started blasting. The devils moved to avoid zat blasts, they moved none to dainty like. It wasn't a wise move for them to be dodging and darting on such a narrow bridge. They fell off and plummeted down. The depth was still undetermined. The SGC had sent a U.A.V. down there to get a reading, it never returned, maybe it was still searching for the bottom, maybe the metal content in the cavern interfered with its electronics, anyway, the bridge was clear again but there were more on the way.

Colonel Carter and Daniel moved closer to the end of the bridge, further towards the ginnel. They started taking pot shots at the wall. Firing at whatever was getting close. They were keeping the devils at bay but not enough so that they could take a run at the entrance. The rock devils where obviously marking them and it was clear should they try to get to the ginnel they would be jumped.

SG-4 were in difficulty again. The armed menace were back again, this time they were in full force. Shinny and sharper points. Maniacal insistence.

They were in serious trouble on the bridge. Fair enough they could keep their attackers at bay, but even so they were still stuck on the bridge.

"Colonel make a run for it now!"

"Can't do Colonel, we're cut off. Stay back!"

Colonel Reynolds couldn't see what Colonel Carter and Daniel could see. The rock devils were more like ants. They were crawling all over the rock face. They were honing in on the ginnel entrance. They were zooming in on the bridge. Their escape route, hopefully temporarily, was out of order.

Colonel Carter, apart from being deeply concerned about the situation they were in on the bridge was also extremely worried about what was happening down at the other end of the passageway. If they were boxed in from that angle then they'd all be cut off, not just from the bridge to the ginnel but from the ginnel to the entrance to the outside and to the StarGate.

"Major Mosskyovich come in!"

"Yes Colonel Carter. They have re-emerged, they seem stronger, there are more of them and they are attempting to make us retreat further back. We are not retreating passed this point."

"Okay Major, can you go at them? Attack them? I need you to cut through there! That's our way out!"

"It is difficult to say Colonel Carter."

"Difficult right, have a go at them! You need to clear the way! That's the way out of the pyramid Major Mosskyovich, we need it clearing!"

"We will push forward Colonel Carter."

"Okay then Major. Keep in touch!"

"I tried to notify you only two minutes ago. The radio sound was static."

"If you need to communicate and can not get through on the radio fire two quick rounds off your 9 mil followed by another round four seconds later."

"Yes I understand very well. Mosskyovich out!"

"Sam we're stuck!"

"I know I'm just tryin' to think what we can do about it."

"We could make a run for it."

"We could but this is to narrow, if anything goes down before we actually get off this narrow walkway, Daniel theres only three ways to move. We either go backwards, forwards or sideways. If we go forwards and don't make it into the ginnel they'll force us to go sideways. If we go sideways, well, obviously, we won't be on the bridge any longer. The only thing we can do for now is hold our position. I mean they can't come at us because.. ..well because we shoot them. Erm, need to think.."

"What about throwing a charge at them?"

"You mean some C4?"

"Yeah."

"Believe me that's already gone through my mind. Erm, but, what do you think, do you think we could do it without caving in that entrance there?"

"Err, well I think we could yeah, but the problem is it would probably collapse anyway wouldn't it?"

"I don't know, I don't know Daniel. Probably."

"Which means we're still stuck on the bridge, that's what it means! Ooowwww, incoming! Incoming!! Colonel Reynolds, big group coming in I think!!"

A big group, hordes of them now, rock devils all over the cavern wall. Some looking, some moving, some peeking out and disappearing back into the rock, into the rock fissures. The main group of them concentrating on the bridge and ginnel. Some of them were armed now, rock devils, they had spears. There was about eleven of them heading in towards the protruding entrance of the ginnel. They climbed off the wall and skipped in, jump down and swing into the ginnel. All such easy manoeuvres for them.

SG-3 were ready. But it was very exhausting for them. This lot were fast, real fast. Swinging in two, three at a time into the ginnel. They charged. They didn't hang around in any kill zone, they just charged at the Team. SG-3 were firing, firing repetitively. But they were being driven back as well. This lot weren't resistant to the zat blasts, they were just enduring more pain. They were moving in on SG-3.

Daniel and Colonel Carter started firing into the ginnel. Aiming at the dangerous D'jinn. They were actually running at SG-3, charging them. A couple from the back came forward with little spears. SG-3 were withdrawing all the time and firing and firing. Somebody started off with a P90 as well, short angled range only, there was important people still out on the bridge.

D'jinn down, devils defeated, but in the process SG-3 had been driven back a good thirty more meters. The Unit started to work its way up towards the bridge again. As they went they were firing at all the felled rock devils. It was an unpleasant thing to have to do, but these creatures, you just didn't know, you didn't want them springing up and attacking from behind.

"Colonel you have to make a run for it. You have to get back to this passageway. We can cover you from here!"

"Colonel how can you cover us? You can't even see them!"

"Yeah I know Doctor Jackson, I just, can we come out there to you?"

"Ill advised Colonel. Anybody crossing that threshold is gonna get jumped. They're all around the entrance. If you can imagine they're climbing all around the wall. Some of them don't seem to be interested in attacking, but believe me we can see about three dozen of them who are all quite close and are all clocking this bridge and that entrance.

We need to get going as well. I think the radiation is beginning to take effect. we need to pull out. We need to get down there and join up with SG-4. What was that..?"

"I don't know Colonel I thought.."

"Hello! Hello?"

"Ma'am. Colonel. Colonel Carter Ma'am."

"Whos that?"

"Its err Sergeant Whitworth Ma'am. I'm coming in with em, I'm in the pyramid. I'm with Lieutenant Marks and Captain Evans. Major Griff sent me up Ma'am, we're err.."

"Where are you Sergeant?"

"I'm not sure. We've come through the entrance and along those passages, we've come into a huge, huge room. Its got em, theres some pillars, like tall pillars going up to the ceiling.."

"Okay Sergeant I know where you are. Whats the situation out there?"

"We've had it bad Ma'am. We've been hit by this err, Nebulium things. Err, everybody's done. Teal'c's not come through yet! Erm everybody's done, they em, yeah, we're ready to pull out. Major Griff said he wants to get everyone to the Beta Site and then go and get Teal'c off the other planet.. ..Nifla. Off the em, the Asgard planet, Nifla Ma'am.."

"Sam do you know what might work?"

"Hold on a minute Sergeant! Stay away from the walls in that hall where you are. They come out of the walls! Just hold on! Go on Daniel because I've been thinking about everything here."

"Shock grenades. You know these rock people can't be use to the light."

"Do they actually use their eyes?"

"I think so Sam because I saw some of their eyes when we was in the tunnels, in that lower chamber. I saw some of them open their eyes, I'm presuming they use them."

"Well that'll be good then won't it."

"Sam we didn't bring any."

"Not in anyone elses kit. Not with 2 or 15?"

"No we didn't, it was a real rush. Jack decided to muster his troops with literally only a couple of minutes to go before he despatched us. Besides me and you were the only ones to go to the armoury, everyone just brought with them what they were already kited up with. Not shock grenades. We could send for some."

"Aw Daniel its not going to work."

"Why? Why not?"

"If we launch shock grenades at these, rock, if we launch the grenades we'll get shocked as well, we could fall off here."

"They could launch from in the ginnel."

"We'd still get shocked."

"We could back up on to the rostrum. As soon as they launch them they could run over and carry us back to the ginnel."

"Do you know what Daniel, judging from the numbers of these creatures, as soon as they got over here to carry us they'd be more rock devils to cut off our way back. They'd be more off us stuck out here."

"Oh. Yeah. Err.."

"Colonel are you ready to pull out because we em, or we could help you if you like?"

"Hold on! Major Mosskyovich, Demitri whats your condition? Whats your situation there? Hows Lieutenant Valdynsky?"

"Colonel, they are at bay. We are holding them off. They are fewer in number. Some are lying on the ground, perhaps dead. They seem to be loosing interest but they are still grouped together twenty meters in the direction of west. We must carry Lieutenant Valdynsky. He is breathing. We are fine! We are well!"

"Good. Sergeant Whitworth?"

"Colonel?"

"Sergeant go and tell Major Griff to go ahead without us. Get everybody back to the Beta Site and treat it as priority to get to Nifla! Tell him to go ahead. We'll make our own way out. We'll Dial to the Beta Site as soon as we're clear. Go!!"

"Good luck Colonel!"

"Okay Sergeant! Watch your back! Lieutenant Marks you were with us in the tunnels?"

"Yes Ma'am I was."

"Can you let Captain Evans now exactly what the situation is with these rock creatures. I want both of you to standby in the atrium where you are now. Stay away from the walls though! You need to help us cut a path to the outside entrance.

SG-4 have got two wounded, one critically. Standby!"

Sergeant Whitworth made it to the pyramid entrance and ran outside waving his arms. An armed Nebulium phased into view not ten meters in front of him. Major Walsh was running towards him screaming.

"Get down!! Get down!!"

Sergeant Whitworth dived and hit the deck. He scrambled backwards back into the entrance. He took up behind the stone slabs. Most of the Ops on the concourse were sprinting to assist. They all let go. Riproar on the Nebulium. They Neutralised it.

Sergeant Whitworth heard Major Walsh shouting clear. He crept round the corner and looked out. Major Walsh gave him the thumbs up. He started to run but stopped. He stopped breathing and his blood turned cold. Something had tried to grab his foot. Had a Nebulium got him, shot him. He spun round in terror but saw nothing. Another piece of stone fell inches away from him, not Nebulium, thank goodness. He stepped back and looked up at the pyramid wall. Something was happening. Yeah that was it, the pyramid was starting to crumble, it was caving in. Some of the stone blocks were cracking. Bits of the rubble was raining down around the entrance. Little waterfalls of sand, sandfalls, were pouring out from the cracks in between the stone slabs.

Whitworth could hear the wall aching, stirring, leaning. The downpour was getting dangerous. Bigger pieces of stone were being shed. That part of the pyramid south wall, all around the entrance and high above, looked and sounded like it was getting ready to cave in.

Sergeant Whitworth ran back into the pyramid. He needed to warn them, if they didn't leave now they wouldn't get out at all.

More D'jinn swung into the ginnel. More were armed. They had spears, sling shots, stones, other things. They attacked again, breaking through the kill zone. Rand was down! He'd been belted by a big rock being slung at him. The Team stopped retreating. Reynolds and Jaspers hurried to grab Rand. They were still firing at the menace. There was a lot of them now, piling into the ginnel.

Colonel Carter and Daniel had moved right up. They were shooting, constantly firing at the ginnel entrance. They were hitting them and they were causing some of the devils to back off, but as soon as some backed away, others moved in. It was all terribly exhausting.

That was it, they had Rand. Tug of war, all over again. A primitive concept but useful in hand to hand combat, especially if you're exceedingly strong. They were pulling at him, dragging him backwards. There was more than two of them this time, three, four, they had hold of him, his legs, dragging him. Reynolds and Jaspers of course didn't let go but they were also being dragged back with Rand.

Sergeant Myderad joined in still firing. She had hold of Jaspers jacket, pulling it. She was trying to even the load, not strong enough, she was being dragged along too. The rock devils, the D'jinn were incredibly, incredibly strong. Now the rock devils were the ones that were retreating. Retreating with Rand and the ever advancing SG-3.

"The Colonel and Daniel were still heavy on the job."

"Colonel! Colonel Carter?"

"Is that you Lieutenant Marks?"

"No Ma'am its Sergeant Whitworth."

"Sergeant I gave you an order! I told you to get back to the Gate."

"I'm on my way. I'm on my way Ma'am. The buildings coming down!"

"What??"

"Ma'am the wall. The front entrance, all the wall, its coming down! Its caving in!"

"How do you know?"

"Doctor Jackson big bits of stone are falling off. Its coming down, all dust and bits and its creaking, honestly its coming down! Its gonna smash in! The whole wall is gonna give way!"

"Okay Sergeant get going. And thank you!"

"Major Mosskyovich you need to leave now!! Pull out!! Lieutenant Marks, Captain Evans, you know what to do! Cut a path. Move up towards the next chamber ahead of you. Don't go in, just cut the path from the doorway. Watch the walls, remember they're in the walls. SG-4 are coming your way. Get them out!!"

"We're on it Colonel. We'll come back for you!"

"..Negative. Come back but only to the main entrance, the entrance to the pyramid, I'll let you know from there. Get SG-4 out!! Over!"

All the Ops in the ginnel were becoming rather desperate. Daniel and Colonel Carter were still trying to break up the group in the ginnel. They could see the devils had hold of Rand. They could see what they were trying to do. There was no way Colonel Carter was letting them take off with one of SG-3.

She tried with the P90. She didn't fired into the ginnel, that would be stupid, dangerous. She fired at the wall all around the entrance to ginnel. It worked. It dispersed the group. They scattered, running off into little holes.

The creatures in the ginnel almost had Rand to the entrance to the bridge, and the surrounding cavern wall. They seemed to come from nowhere. Two little creatures. Two D'jinn, both with spears, ran from in amongst the tugging group and charged at Reynolds and Jaspers. They struck hi and low. Jaspers got it in the leg. In the fleshy part of his thigh. Reynolds got it in his arm, in his shoulder joint. They had something to shout about. It was burning red hot.

Colonel Reynolds almost let go of Rand but at the last moment tightened his grip and shouted out in pain, a lot of pain. He couldn't fire his weapon at the rock devils any more. He needed to concentrate on not letting go of Rand. Sergeant Jaspers kept firing. He was shouting at them, the devils. There was no way he was letting go of his Teammate. The spear was still sticking out of his leg but he'd down the devil who'd done it to him.

The group was thinning now. Some of them were on the floor not moving and some of them had taken off back through the ginnel into the cavern. Daniel and Colonel Carter couldn't fire any more, the group was to thin, they risked hitting their own people. Myderad was very useful from behind, she kept the fight going. The devils let go of Rand. They turned and ran away out of the ginnel. Still howling and yowling, but gone for now.

"Colonel Reynolds pull out now!! You have to withdraw now! Get down the passage, try and catch up to Mosskyovich."

"Okay Colonel. I'm hit, Jaspers is hit, we'll withdraw, just as soon as you get yourself in here we'll withdraw."

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

"………ts n?? ………ts n??"

"Hello?"

"Car……..?? ………el??"

"Hello?? Hello?"

"Carter?? Gawd damn it! Can't you hear me??"

"Sir! General! Yes! Yeah I can hear you! Em, Sir? General can you hear me? Come in?"

"Reynolds?"

"Reading you General! Sir we're under heavy fire. Two of SG-4 are injured, they're pulling out now. We've taken a beating Sir, arrows, slings and things. Colonel Carter and Doctor Jackson are cut off on the bridge, separated from us, they can't get back, the rock devils. We can't get to them. I think the oxygen, no the erm, atmosphere, you know the poison thing, I think its getting to them."

"Its getting to you all Colonel! Hold your positions. Just stay there, keep them covered, hold your position!"

"Sir, General, can you hear me?"

"Carter?"

"Sir we've just been told the entrance to the pyramid is starting to fall in."

"I heard. Can you withdraw?"

"No Sir."

"Then hold your position. O'Neill Out!!"

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

Sergeant Frank quickly started to Dial the Beta Site again.

Sergeant Whitworth got down to the StarGate, he was breathless. He reported to both Major Pierce and Major Griff.

"Sirs they're in real trouble in the pyramid. It looks bad! They're under attack. Two of them might already be injured, down. Lieutenant Marks and Captain Evans are hold up just inside the entrance, they're keeping the path clear. Colonel Carter told me to tell you to Move out."

"What do you mean move out? You mean leave them?"

"No Major I don't mean that, that's what the Colonel said. I think they're making their way out now, some of them. Sir Colonel Carter sounded a bit tired, you know, sleepy."

"You know what that is Griff."

"Yeah, they've been in there to long. We need to sort these then get down there."

"Majors, I think that place is gonna fall down!"

"What Sergeant?"

"Its all crumbling and theres big bits of stuff falling off, the pyramid, its gonna cave in Sir."

"The explosives?"

"No Sir, by itself."

"Lets see."

Both Majors got their binoculars out to see what was up with the pyramid south wall.

Unbelievably the StarGate shutdown yet again and immediately lit up and reactivated. Incoming off world activation, again, origination unestablished. Everybody had to rush back into position for possibly, hopefully, attacking and taking down Teal'c.

Whooosh!

The unstable vortex boomeranged. There was a loud crackling noise, a hissing, they could all hear it. It was getting louder through the Gate. Radio waves!

"Wwwwhatsss going on? ………ts n??"

This time it was The SGC.

"General! General O'Neill, Teal'c's not come through yet, hes still on Nifla."

"What??"

"Hes still on Nifla Sir. The others, we have them, all of them."

"Get them to the Beta Site. Are you sure Teal'c's not been through?"

"No way. No way General."

"We've just had a Dial in from Nifla but no contact, whos there?"

"Sir it must be Teal'c, we've just had a Dial in as well, no contact. Hes there alone. As soon as we get everyone to the Beta Site we're gonna go and get him."

"Are you all ready to pull out? Wheres Colonel Carter and Daniel and the others?"

"Sir we've ready to leave. We've been under attack from the Nebulium, Major Able and Lieutenant Bryce are down General. SG-1, the pyramid group, we've just been informed they're under heavy attack, Sir, sounds bad."

"Hang on Griff let me just talk to them."

"Sir they're not on this frequency, should be shortband erm, 2B, no Sir, B2."

"..Carter?"

"..Sir we've just been told the entrance to the pyramid is starting to fall in."

"I heard. Can you pull out?"

"No Sir."

"Then hold your position. O'Neill Out!!"

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

Frightened angry man tearing out of subspace.

General O'Neill jumped out of the horizon and straight down onto the middle step of the P7X 377 StarGate platform. He touched down but was going so fast he took off again and landed upright on the concourse not to far from the bottom step. He needed to keep on ruining a little in order to slow down.

There was a pain in his chest, it was his heart punching him. The seconds between deciding to go through the StarGate and actually setting foot into the event horizon in the Gate Room had be long enough for him to panic himself with the fear that he might phase change during his nanonut trip to the other side of the StarGate.

He landed. He wasn't aglow with light. Thank G_d he was still in one unaltered piece. Handsome and hang fire. His heart and mind were racing but adjusting to his safety.

"Griff Dial it up! Send 'em through! Colonel Brewster and Bud are expecting them. You and kim hold back with your teams. You can go straight to Nifla. Just let me assess the score. Standby!"

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

You could see from the StarGate the wall around the entrance to the pyramid was coming apart. It was dangerous. It was definitely caving in. What wasn't apparent was exactly how long it would take this millennia settled brickwork to unalign.

No time to delegate. Major Griff gave General O'Neill his guns. The General took off running down the causeway. He ran straight into a broad beam of exceptionally bright light.

It was like breaking through a sheet of ice into a cold and lonely place. Into a reality, a realisation that nothing is as it was. That all your abilities had been stripped away. That your control, your fate, your materialistic desires, your destiny, your destination have become something you simply will never attain. The sudden clarity of thought, of understanding that you are no longer what you are, what you were, but instead have become a heavily condensed ray of travelling light, going you don't know where or when.

Through the terror and white light rapids, General O'Neill hit the ground. The light had gone out. He wasn't blinded and he hadn't been flying. He was still on the concourse looking towards the entrance to the 377 pyramid.

"Jeezzass!! Jezass!! Teal'c!! Teal'c buddy! Nice!! Hey! Oh!!"

General O'Neill, who had been about to embrace Teal'c, instead jumped him, tackling him down and getting a headlock on him. The bright beam of light, the one that attacked him with a multitude of fears, the light he'd believed to have been himself changing, phasing, was actually the transporter ray beams from an Asgard ship.

"O'Neill it is I!"

"Ah T, are you sure?"

"I am positive! Me!"

"Thor! Thor I owe you one buddy! Nice one Thor!"

"O'Neill it was not Thor!"

"No?"

"It was the elder Miollnir. The Grey Hammer!"

"Nice! Molly I owe you one! Sweet! Thanks pal! T get everyone off the rock back to the Beta Site ASAP!!"

"O'Neill I will accompany you."

"No, the err, no! No, the err.. ..T please get them to the Beta Site please. They're not safe! Nebulium!"

"I will O'Neill."

"T, you okay?"

Teal'c felt okay. Thanks to the Asgard, and no doubt thanks to O'Neill's friendship with the Asgard, Teal'c was most certainly okay.

"I am!"

Majors Green, Griff and Yardly and Pierce, followed by others, were racing to assist the General. General O'Neill waved everyone down. Griff and Pierce continued to catch up to the General and Teal'c. Everybody was delighted to see Teal'c. They were all beginning to realise that he'd had a lift off the Asgard.

Griff and Pierce escorted Teal'c back down to the StarGate.

~ Λ λ ω µ Π Φ Ψ ⋰ ≅ ⋯ ~

As General O'Neill continued running along the causeway towards the crumbling pyramid, Major Griff ran after him.

"General! General O'Neill! General!! Sir hold up!"

Major Griff sprinted to catch up to the General.

"Griff whats up?"

"Sir look."

"What the hell is it?"

"No idea Sir but that's what they're using. Em, Major Able and Lieutenant Bryce have gone down to this Sir. Its err, I tried it, I tried it but I couldn't get it working. Whatever it is it comes out of this bit. I wouldn't aim it at anything friendly Sir, anyway, that's what it is."

"Have we got anymore of these?"

"Yeah we have General. We've got, one, two, err, we've got a couple up there."

"Let me take that Griff."

"Sir. Do you need back up? Sounds like you should."

"Not right now Griff, let me assess. I'll send word out. If you don't hear in a couple of minutes, split."

"General?"

"Move out!"

"Sir?"

"That's an order!"

"Sir."

"Hey Griff."

"General?"

"Just err, do me a favour, make sure you send Teal'c through the Gate. Do you understand me, give him the people to take through, don't let him stay here."

"Otherwise he'll try to help out in the pyramid Sir?"

"Otherwise he will. Hes weak, he needs Medical."

"I'll see to it Sir."

"I know you will Griff. Thanks!"

"Standing by at the Gate General. Good luck Sir!"

"Yeah Griff, nice one."
